Smoking at the childrens hospital charity?!
So, we donated to (and collected for) a charity... the Childrens Hospital (Central Ca) fundraiser... for this we got to go to a country music concert. At this concert it was KNOWN that the patients of the hospital (the ones well enough to do so) were allowed to attend.
You would think, that for the cancer riddled children walking around that the smokers amongst the crowd AT the concert AT the hospital FOR the children would put the F******G cigs away for one damned night. But no... Little jim and jane walking around (LITERALLY, IM NOT KIDDING) with their IV's still in their arms got to breath in the cig smoke of our fellow considerate human beings.
So, I guess the logic is: "I'm still a good person, I helped save lots of kids... and I only killed one of the little bastards!"
FFS! COME ON!
